Immediately once I began working with Laura and Leon, it was evident that they truly were two peas in a pod. They were a sweet couple who were both part of all conversations, decisions, and emails. Laura reached out to us for their Wrightsville Manor wedding more than a year out and booked the wedding management with full flower design services.
With Laura’s Spanish heritage and Leon’s Scottish heritage, they mixed both cultures into their wedding. Both Laura’s mom and Leon’s mom had readings at the ceremony; Laura’s in Spanish and Leon’s in English. It was beautiful to see both mothers come together for their son and daughter’s wedding. Plus, they were truly friends. We love when brides and grooms can make their wedding truly their wedding. Not worrying about tradition, but doing what they want.
To make the ceremony even more awe-worthy, Laura had both her dad and mom walk her down the aisle. But that’s not all, the father of the bride wrote a song for the couple and sang it during the toasts. It was such a sweet moment that we had never seen before. For the father/daughter and mother/son dances, both were choreographed and so much fun to watch.
As for the reception, Laura and Leon wanted a Boxwood wall photo booth. It was a hit in the tent for the guests all night long. They ordered a neon light to decorate the wall, and Arbor flowers were attached after the ceremony. TO keep the fun going, Laura had a dress change for the reception that she could dance in!
Laura and Leon’s Wrightsville Manor wedding definitely went full blast until the very end. Laura has since said her only regret was not hiring us for full planning services! It was a great night for a sweet couple.
We’d love to support you on your big day with beautiful florals and perfect planning.
